Stop searching
spreadsheets.

Your AI assistant can search regulatory validation rules and look up official reference data directly. EMIR, SFTR, MiFIR. FIRDS, GLEIF. UK and EU - and many more. Sourced answers, not guesswork.

Works with Claude, ChatGPT, and any AI assistant that supports MCP.

Ask your AI. Get the rule.

Instead of opening regulator spreadsheets, finding the right sheet, and cross-referencing columns — just ask. Every answer cites the source file, sheet, and cell reference.

EMIR

OTC and exchange-traded derivative reporting. Trade and margin validations across all event types: NEWT, MODI, CORR, TERM, VALU, EROR, REVI, POSC, MARU. UK FCA and EU ESMA.

SFTR

Securities financing transactions. Transaction, margin, and reuse validations for repos, buy-sell-backs, securities lending, and margin lending. Filter by SFT type. UK FCA and EU ESMA.

MiFIR

Transaction reporting field validations and CFI classification rules across all instrument types. Error codes and conditional logic. UK FCA and EU ESMA.

Search any way you need

By field name, field number, keyword, or error code. Filter by event type, SFT type, or reporting level. See Mandatory, Conditional, Optional, and Not-applicable requirements per event and product.
Every answer includes the source file, sheet name, cell reference, and a link to the regulator's published data.

Trusted data, not web results.

When your AI searches the web for an ISIN or LEI, you get unverified results from random sites. Gentek connects to the official sources directly.

FIRDS — instrument lookups

Search by ISIN, instrument name, CFI code, issuer LEI, or trading venue MIC. Returns full instrument details: asset class, currency, maturity, issuer, underlying, strike price, competent authority. Data from ESMA (EU) and FCA (UK).

GLEIF — entity lookups

Search by LEI code or entity name. Returns registration status, jurisdiction, legal address, headquarters, corporate hierarchy, and category. Live data from the global LEI database. Active, lapsed, and duplicate records clearly ranked.

Just ask — it figures out the rest

Paste an ISIN, an LEI, or type a company name. The tool works out what you need and pulls the right record from the right source. No need to specify which database or format.

EU and UK in one place

FIRDS holds both ESMA and FCA data. Filter by jurisdiction or search across both. See which venues list an instrument, which authority governs it, and whether it appears in EU, UK, or both.

Searching the web

  • Results from random third-party sites with no provenance
  • Outdated instruments, stale LEI records, broken links
  • No way to tell which jurisdiction the data applies to
  • Compliance cannot sign off on unverified, unsourced data

With Gentek

  • Data sourced from the same registers regulators use
  • EU and UK data clearly separated — filter by jurisdiction
  • Full instrument and entity records, not summaries
  • Every result shows its source. Verify independently

How teams use both together.

Validation rules and reference data in the same conversation.
No switching tools, no manual lookups.

Check a field, then verify the data

"What format does the Counterparty LEI field require under EMIR?" Then: "Is this LEI active?" Rules and reference data in one conversation.

Compare UK vs EU requirements

See where UK FCA and EU ESMA requirements differ for the same field. Then look up the instrument in FIRDS to confirm which jurisdiction applies.

Scope a regulation change

List all mandatory fields for a new event type. Cross-reference against your instrument universe in FIRDS to see which products are affected.

Validate a trade report end to end

Check the reporting rules for each field, verify the counterparty LEI is active, confirm the ISIN exists in FIRDS. All from one prompt.

Work inside your spreadsheets

Call Gentek straight from Excel or Google Sheets. Pull validation rules, reference data and field formats into the cells your team already works in — no copy-paste, no tab-switching, every value cited to source.

Validate exception message and submission

Paste a TR / ARM rejection (NACK) or a full submission, and the agent applies validation rules, explains why the submission failed, and proposes the correction before you re-submit.

Any application or local system that supports the Model Context Protocol can connect. Open your app's MCP or connector settings.

Other applications

Gentek has tested the setup with Claude and ChatGPT. Other AI applications that support remote (streamable HTTP) MCP servers and OAuth authentication can be connected the same way, though the exact setup screens and menu options may differ.

3
Paste the URL

Enter https://mcp.gentek.ai/mcp as the server URL.

4
Authenticate

The server uses OAuth. Your app will redirect you to sign in with your Gentek account. Once authenticated, all 8 regulatory tools become available.
