Your AI assistant can search regulatory validation rules and look up official reference data directly. EMIR, SFTR, MiFIR. FIRDS, GLEIF. UK and EU - and many more. Sourced answers, not guesswork.
Works with Claude, ChatGPT, and any AI assistant that supports MCP.
Instead of opening regulator spreadsheets, finding the right sheet, and cross-referencing columns — just ask. Every answer cites the source file, sheet, and cell reference.
When your AI searches the web for an ISIN or LEI, you get unverified results from random sites. Gentek connects to the official sources directly.
Validation rules and reference data in the same conversation.
No switching tools, no manual lookups.
Go to claude.ai and open the sidebar, then select Customize.
Select Connectors, then click the + next to the search box and select Add custom connector. On Team and Enterprise plans you must be an admin to add a connector.
Give the connector a name (e.g. Gentek Reg Knowledge) and paste the server URL. Then, under advanced settings, enter the Client ID and Client Secret provided during registration. Click Add.
Press Connect. You'll be redirected to sign in with the Gentek account you created during registration. Once connected, Claude will have access to the MCP.
Go to chatgpt.com, click your profile icon and open Settings.
In Apps → Advanced settings, switch on Developer mode, then click Create app.
Name the app, add a short description, and paste your connector URL. Choose OAuth, enter your Client ID and Secret provided during registration, then set the auth method to client_secret_basic. Accept the terms, click Create, then Sign in.
Press Connect. You'll be redirected to sign in with the Gentek account you created during registration. Once connected, Chat GPT will have access to the MCP.
Gentek has tested the setup with Claude and ChatGPT. Other AI applications that support remote (streamable HTTP) MCP servers and OAuth authentication can be connected the same way, though the exact setup screens and menu options may differ.
